Business Lead, Trade Compliance Standards, APAC

This position reports into Manager - Deliver Trade Compliance based in Singapore.

What will you do
Implement the regional Trade Compliance standards, policies, guidelines, and procedures.

Essential Functions:

Advise business on evolving and existing import and export trade regulations
Maintain and update regional processes related to internal and external changes and new regulations
Support regional implementation of import and export data and technology solutions
Measure and govern regional thirdparty providers per global process and scorecards
Monitor and execute metrics for measuring compliance and operational performance
Informs on capability gaps to improve efficiency and define how to address
Builds exceptional partnership and relationship across affiliate/regional/global teams to scout business opportunities and translates them into solutions
Ensures effective integration of global trade compliance processes and standards within region
Provides process support to local Trade Compliance teams
Partners to support Trade Compliance projects, programs, or initiatives cross company ensuring new standards are understood and deployed

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Position Requirements:

University / Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
6 Years Work Experience
Prior experience with global trade management systems such as SAP GTS, E2Open or similar systems
Experience developing processes and measuring trade compliance KPIs and metrics, to track success of the different TC programs
Experience interacting and collaborating with teams across business functions and regions is preferred.

Preferred Requirements/Competencies:

Advanced degree with global trade certification preferred
