The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee's buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

Perform data alignment and analysis to generate business insights for reporting and planning
Identify opportunities and collaborate with both internal and external teams to achieve overall business objectives and growth
Generate ad hoc reports to support operations and business development teams
Support research projects including industry benchmarking, competitor studies with respect to revenue generation strategies
Help with ideation and executing various projects within the team
Support in seller education materials

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Analytics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or other related field
Proficient in Excel data analysis functions (e.g. PivotTable, xlookup); familiar with scripting languages especially SQL and Python is a plus
Detailoriented and comfortable in dealing with numbers and data analysis to identify patterns/anomalies
Basic accounting knowledge is an advantage
Good communications skills
Fulltime interns preferred (36 months)
Parttime interns who can commit at least 3 working days a week are also welcome to apply
