About the Role


In addition to having extensive experience as a Business Analyst and Customer Product Owner, you have a strong grasp of the needs and preferences of retail customers.

Possessing a minimum of 10 years of demonstrated market experience and adeptness in managing stakeholders, you excel in establishing clear expectations and effectively navigating operational work environments.

Requirements Analysis

  • Gather customer requirements and analyze highlevel requirements.
  • Provide retail industry knowledge to business and technical team members.
  • Evaluate proposed change requests to existing solutions to identify potential adverse impacts.
  • Ascertain that newly implemented/ revised solutions and supporting processes are meeting enduser requirements and business objectives.
  • Conduct gap analysis against a new market opportunity.
Solution Design

  • Acquire indepth product knowledge and market trends.
  • Participate in solution design sessions, effort, and planning estimation.
  • Create highlevel design documents, logical business rules, epic writing, and lowlevel user stories.
  • Conduct capability assessment and help set the right expectations for stakeholders.
Deployment

  • Understand and work on agile projects.
  • Assist with document preparation and review for release distribution.
  • Validate new functions developed against approved requirements.
  • Utilize analytical skills, problemsolving capabilities, and indepth solution knowledge to conduct configuration and readiness for deployment.
Defect Analysis

  • Analyze defects and provide suitable solutions.
Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with clients, Chief Product Officer, other business analysts, developers, and testers to analyze and validate business requirements.
  • Maintain client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work with team members, in different time zones.

Requirements:


  • BS or MS degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in an ITrelated field.
  • Experience in conducting requirements analysis, technical investigation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with technical writing including solution design documents, business rules, and user stories.
  • Experience working with issue management tools like Jira or TFS.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across various functional and multicultural groups in a complex, global environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, while often working independently and with little direct supervision to accomplish goals.
  • Ability to recognize highlevel opportunities for improvement and change.

Highly desired:

  • Knowledge of regional retail markets across SEA
  • Experience working with international teams on solution design and implementation.
  • Experience working with hyper scalers/ platforms including Azure and GCP
  • Ability to adopt cuttingedge retail technology and be an advocate for change/ implementation including leading POC's, MVP's and demonstrations.
