Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting for a Lifting Specialist with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.


The Lifting Specialist role for the Crisp Restart Projectshall coordinate all lifting and Hoisting activities meeting all Singapore government regulations and EM specific Lifting procedures.

The role includes demonstrating a strong presence at site to bring about improvements in HSSE culture of the site by working collaboratively with the project leadership, Contractors and the Asset, adopting a learner mindset to establish safe and efficient Lifting operation and methods with Contractors and to set them up for safe execution success.

He shall also be LMS trained by MOM and EM


Skills / Qualifications:

  • Diploma in any Engineering Discipline (accredited)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Lifting focused on Project, Turnaround, Maintenance in major oil and/or Petrochemical and Chemical sites is required
  • Demolition experience is desirable
  • Experience in managing multi discipline teams
  • Skilled in written and oral communications
  • Proven experience in managing stakeholders. Relevant Engineering Diploma
