Roles & Responsibilities

The Role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, APAC, the Finance Manager, APAC is responsible for overseeing financial and accounting functions within the region. This includes analyzing business performance, collaborating with management on strategy, preparing budgets and forecasts, and enhancing accounting processes and internal controls for improved efficiency and governance.

Duties:
- Manage APAC Order-to-cash process for SG, MY, and APAC NV
- Oversee APAC balance sheet reconciliations in FloQast
- Submit SG GST
- Coordinate with IDC Team for PO processing and payment collection
- Ensure timely contract renewals and billing
- Handle external and internal audit inquiries
- Collaborate with APAC Controller, sales, and operation teams for monthly forecasts
- Streamline Order to Cash process
- Refine business processes to align with organizational goals
- Build strong relationships with external parties
- Work with US Tax department on international taxes
- Perform other assigned duties

Requirements for success:
- Degree in Accountancy or relevant field
- Sound knowledge of financial analysis and accounting principles
- Minimum 7 years of APAC work experience
- Understanding of statutory requirements in the region
- Problem-solving and conflict management abilities
- Previous leadership experience
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to guide and lead teams
- Proficiency in English & Mandarin and/or Cantonese

Other preferred qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
- Master's degree in Accountancy or Business Administration
- AICPA/ACCA or equivalent certification
- Knowledge of APAC taxation and logistics
