Description
We are searching for a reliable quantity surveyor to join our capable team of professionals.

The quantity surveyor will be tasked with analyzing existing budgets and making improvements, reviewing plans and preparing quantity estimates, negotiating with various contractors and vendors, as well as building relationships with clients and site managers.

To be successful as a quantity surveyor, you should have a methodical approach and superb interpersonal skills. Outstanding quantity surveyors are not only great at analyzing costs, but they also know how to read people and tailor their negotiation strategies to ensure the best possible outcome


Responsibilities:

- preparation of BQ, variation orders, cost estimate, cost control and budgeting
- negotiation and procurement of materials and equipment during project duration.

  • Oversee taking of quantities, sourcing subcontractors and suppliers, pricing and preparation of submission.
  • Oversee tender and contract document administration
  • Prepare, negotiate and evaluate cost for subcontractor works.
  • Coordinate with site for project, subcon and contractual issues.
  • Attend site meetings
  • Other adhoc duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements:


  • Min Diploma in Building / Construction or Quantity Surveying
  • Able to use AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word
  • Good communication skills
  • Independent & responsible for the construction project assigned
  • Resourceful & maintain good relationship with subcontractors.
  • Min 13 years experience
  • Preferably able to start work immediately.

Other:
Working Day: 5.5 days per week


Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.45pm
Saturday 8.00am to 12.00pm

  • Work Location: 19 Burn Road (Near Tai Seng Mrt)

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
$2, $3,200.00 per month
