As a data person, I have a problem-solving mindset that loves to break problems down into bite-sized information, rationalise, gain insights and then effectively communicate these with the relevant stakeholders.

I have a keen interest in the customer/sales/marketing analytics domain and am eager to explore this domain and learn more. At University, I took the Customer Analytics module and as part of our group project, we performed competitor analysis, customer segmentation, campaign analysis, survival analysis, and data visualization to offer recommendations to Company X that address the pain points across the customer journey map. We used metrics such as click-through rates, reach-impression ratio, bounce rates, customer acquisition costs and customer survival probability to provide customized solutions. Our group stood first among the ten groups based on company X’s review and peer evaluation.

Additionally, during my internship at Mighty Jaxx, I was responsible for creating and deploying the data architecture for the firm. I was also tasked with putting together a proof of concept for a comprehensive competitor analysis database Mighty Jaxx was creating. I developed a web-scraping program for a toy news aggregator website (VinylPulse) in Python. The program scraped 1,084 unique collectibles information from January 2021 to September 2022 period. The insights were presented in Tableau and subsequently implemented by the product management team.

Data Analytics Intern

• Assisted with designing and testing the organization’s data engineering infrastructure (ETL. automation, querying, visualization) using AWS cloud and documentation of processes using Confluence. Implemented code for data transformations using PySpark and Lambda.
• Collaborated with multiple teams to address their business-related data inquiries and utilized Google Analytics and SQL to extract and analyze the relevant data, providing actionable insights and enabling informed decision-making.

• Administered Net Asset Value (NAV) production functions encompassing NAV construction, validation, review, and dissemination on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for over 5,000 funds ranging over seven fund types.
• Led a team of five to automate NAV production functions using Alteryx. The automation increased efficiency by saving 40 man hours monthly and strengthening audit controls.

RANDSTAD, Mumbai 

• Joined SPARTA project team, solely responsible for validating daily NAV feeds between B-One (external) and SPARTA (in-house) systems and raised exceptions with the technology team to resolve errors.
• Reduced team cost by 10% by assisting in the successful deployment of SPARTA. Reconciled over 120 daily, weekly, and monthly reports in UAT and Production environments.
