About Boon Kiat Siah:
I am a Malaysian currently holding Singapore permanent resident status and based in Singapore. I have been in the aviation industry since the year 2016 as an aircraft avionics technician in an airline subsidiary company. In 2019, I started working in a component workshop as a repair technician and then as a workshop supervisor in 2022 at the same company. My current work scope is to lead a group of technicians to perform their day-to-day job involving repairing and testing of galley inserts and cockpit seats.

- Certifying staff (CAAS C6, FAA C6, EASA C6, CAAM C6 and DGCA C6).
- Identifying faults and troubleshoot cockpit seats/galleys in accordance with maintenance data.
- Carry out maintenance task and repair job on cockpit seats/galleys.
- Carry out basic sheet metal task on cockpit seats/galleys such as drilling and riveting.
- Carry out insulation resistance check, ground and bonding check on cockpit seats/galleys.
- Re-assembling of cockpit seats/galleys upon finishing repair.
- Testing of repaired cockpit seats/galleys.
- Sign off release certificate for repaired cockpit seats/galleys.
