A Master Black Belt and Chartered Quality Professional, Daryl specializes in Lean and Six Sigma transformation, leveraging hands-on expertise to drive operational excellence, strategy deployment, and cost control. His passion for training, coaching, and mentoring has empowered individuals and organizations to achieve measurable performance improvements.

Experience

Daryl’s more than two decades of working experience began when he joined Xerox (UK) Ltd as a Business Process Engineer. Soon after, he joined Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Ltd in Singapore and later took on the role as Quality Systems & Six Sigma Manager. Daryl moved on to Neville-Clarke Malaysia as consultant and trainer then as the Business Unit Manager of Operational Excellence before he joined BSI as the Head of Enterprise and B2C Solutions. 

Currently, he is the Regional Lean Six Sigma Manager for Fujifilm Business Innovation Asia Pacific as a change lead in Lean Six Sigma deployment for the regional service delivery operations team as well as the 10 operating countries across Asia Pacific (including Australia and New Zealand). He is also the technical resource lead and master trainer to train, coach and facilitate the application of Lean Six Sigma methodology, tools, and techniques within the organization.

Daryl is also a Chartered Quality Professional with proven track records in operational efficiency, process improvement, problem solving, TRIZ-based innovation, performance management, quality management and production management. A highly accomplished Master Black Belt, he possessed extensive hands-on experience in Lean Six Sigma transformation with a passion in training and coaching on the practical applications of these processes.

His training and coaching experiences spread its wings over 350 organizations to-date, covering a wide range of industries & businesses. For those organizations that he worked with, he drove performance and cost improvements that include process and system improvements to optimize utilization, responsiveness and enable the effective cost structure.

Daryl facilitated organizations through diagnostics to determine areas requiring organizational or procedural improvements, streamlined business and operational processes. As a Master Trainer, his training and coaching programs have helped many organizations to achieve significant costs savings in their work environment. One of his most significant achievements was when he helped his clients save on more than USD10 million from a single project.
