About Grace Lee:

I am a creative person with a love for arts & media. I love learning and I am constantly striving for self-improvement. I take pride in my work and value attention to detail. I have an entrepreneurial spirit and I am highly adaptable, taking on multiple roles in school. I demonstrated my leadership abilities in my co-curricular activities as the president of the English Drama Club and as a Student Leader for numerous school events. Through my experience, I learned that I enjoy working together as a team striving for a common goal. 

 

Experience

As the Product Development intern at COMO Shambhala, I conceptualized and developed the new seasonal product bundle (The Gift of Wellness), from conception to completion, including planning, development, prototyping, costing, and commercialization. Aided by extensive research and analysis, I developed products that address customer pain points. Extending beyond COMO Shambhala, to our subsidiaries such as relaxing herbal teas for COMO cuisine and travel candles and room sprays for COMO Hotels and Resorts. I composed and presented creative and product briefs to stakeholders assisted in team meeting preparation, and collaborated with local suppliers, sales, and marketing teams on the product development process. I familiarised myself with e-commerce and digital marketing platforms such as Shopify and Klaviyo. This experience allowed me to hone my communication skills in order to maximize teamwork, adaptability by shifting plans in response to company priorities, and creativity through problem-solving innovations. 

 

Education

As the world of marketing evolves, a marketing intern must be adaptable, creative, and innovative. With the knowledge and experience gained through my studies and internships, I believe that I would make an exemplary candidate for the position. In my studies, I learned the value of market research and analysis in order to better understand our target audience and meet the needs of our customers. As a result, we can forecast trends in order to stay ahead of competitors and retain and attract new audiences. I also learned about various social media marketing strategies for increasing brand awareness, developing a strong brand identity, and fostering a strong bond with your customers.
