I am a curious and hardworking individual who seeks intellectual stimulation through learning concepts and applying it effectively.

I have previously worked at Capella Hotel Group as a Finance Intern where my job was to ensure that invoices, reimbursements and payroll that were owed to the respective parties were paid promptly and on time. In addition, I had to handle our accounts receivables from hotels that were under our management. The accounting system that I had to familiarize myself with was Yardi which the finance team had to ensure that it tallies with the expenses and our balances in our bank accounts.
Through this experience, I have learnt the intricacies of being extremely meticulous and take necessary precautions in the accounting side of the business and ensuring that the accounts were kept in order. Moreover, I am thankful and glad that I got to learn how the whole accounting cycle works in a firm from the point of purchase or sale, right down to when money is collected which I find to be extremely vital for the business to stay afloat and minimize bad debts that might occur.
I have previously worked at Central Provident Fund Board as an IT Administrative Associate, I worked on
translating ideas which the business side of the firm finds to be beneficial for its clients, where these ideas, be carefully described and translated to the IT side of the firm. In addition, I was assigned with managing the records of the business systems where I had to upgrade and learn advanced Excel functions which includes Nesting of formulas, VLOOKUP, Match, Lens, HLOOKUP, Pivot table, Charts.
Through this experience, I have gained valuable skills for IT Administrative Associate at Central Provident Fund Board such as attention to detail where any changes or error in the translation of business idea to the IT department would lead to a multitude of problems. In addition, presenting business ideas,
presentation and compartmentalization of data or results on Excel is an essential skill that I have learnt
and applied in my own personal life as well.
I have interned at Shipsfocus Pte Ltd which is a venture studio as an investment analyst where I was
tasked to research on emerging opportunities within the maritime sector and have guided one of
ShipsFocus very own start-up namely “ALISE” which is a digital platform for booking launch boats
through the SEED round and it required me to do financial modelling, and conducting due diligence. I
was also tasked in sourcing for potential investors for another of their startup namely “Elsa” which was a
ship in port data hub platform.
Through this experience, I have learnt different ways of valuing a start up and also the different means
and ways to source for investments as well as conduct due diligence on any investments made.

I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in banking and finance and have achieved second upper class honours along with a letter of commendation for excellent results which meant that i achieved the top 2% in the world for 2022 examinations
