Jeremy Lee

I've spent a decade in music education, guiding learners for instrument-specific classes (specifically the trombone), leading workshops for music improvisation, hosting concerts, as well as speaking at pre-concert talks. Music has been positively impactful in my life, and I see the great potential in a workshop conducted well, or a concert performed at a high level. I'm also active in organising and programming concerts, managing musicians, and leading musical ensembles.

My education does not reflect my career choices. My choice of studies is an investment in my personal growth, and not a definitive end to my profession. I am highly critical, and expect nothing less from myself as I do from others. I believe that as we continue to learn, so we live.

I have been teaching trombone classes to students in local and international schools for more than a decade, in addition to my private students. I have also performed extensively in local and international productions and concerts. 

My formative and developmental years as a trombonist were shaped by past and present musicians from the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. They were my instrumental and sectional tutors for more than a decade while I was in the Singapore National Youth Orchestra. During my time with the tooth orchestra, I had the opportunity to go on four overseas orchestra tours, including China, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Italy.
