My role as an Assistant Engineer is to maintain the Chinook helicopter for the pilots to carry out their missions and trainings. As I progress through the ranks, I get to learn skills which are applicable to beyond the RSAF as well. As part of the Safety Office, I am ISO 45001:2018 trained and value-add to the safety aspect to my job. I get to organize a variety of events for my squadron and base, liaising with external vendors. I am also being nominated for leadership courses at various levels, to be put into supervisory roles ensuring tasks been carried out efficiently without compromising safety and quality. I am also being nominated to be placed in a leadership position as a Section Lead, to run a section of aircraft maintenance crew.

16 years of service in the RSAF, maintaining the Chinook helicopter for the pilots to carry out their training and mission. I lead a team of ground crew with specialization to run daily operations. I am also ISO 45001:2018 trained to value-add my Unit's Safety Office. I had also organized various events at various levels for cohesions as well as workshops for my Unit.

Graduated with Diploma in Mechatronics in 2008 from Ngee Ann Polytechnic. With my great interest in military aircraft then, I signed on with the RSAF in the Joint Polytechnic Studies Diploma Scheme while still in studies. Hence, I'm with the RSAF since 2008.
