Kelvin Ho

As an ex-educator and current executive secretary to a sports secretariat, my roles require me to have good interpersonal skills that allow me to communicate well with others to build consensus and chart directions that would allow teams to reach their desired outcomes. 

I am highly-motivated to learn in the roles that I enter, as continual growth and improvement remain one of the my personal goals. Apart from growth, I am also a strong believer of professionalism, and that regardless of the field one is in, it is crucial that individuals play their part as part of a greater machine to ensure we meet a common goal. 

I have had a great interest in sports through my youth as well as into early career paths. The work that I have involved myself in have allowed me to gain skills such as mentorship and leading a team. These transferable skills are applicable across different settings and I see as some of the value adds I can bring to the team.  

I would like to venture out of the area of sports and education, looking for roles that I can hopefully bring value to, whilst being able to learn and develop further as a professional.

• Middle management involved in strategic and curriculum planning.
• Mentorship role to overseeing the building of professional capacity of beginning teachers. 

Executive Secretary 

• Lead a team of 5 to ensure operations (Event planning and conduct, fund management, publicity, high performance team support) run smoothly. 
• Budget projection. Work with department to project the budget requirements for the coming year. 
• Review and planning of operations of association for changing landscape and requirements of the greater organization. 
• Coordinate executive commitee meetings quarterly.

Degree holder in physical education with psychology from Singapore University of Social Sciences
