Matthew Koh

Matthew is a corporate trainer specializing in Positive Psychology, with a focus on designing and delivering wellbeing and social emotional learning programs for both corporate organizations and educational institutions. As a passionate advocate for evidence-based positive psychology, his mission is to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to create a life that thrives rather than merely survives.

One of Matthew's signature training programme is the PRIMER Wellbeing Programme, an evidence-based programme designed to enhance individual wellbeing and resilience. He also hosts "The Positive Arena Podcast," an engaging platform for discussions with experts and practitioners committed to promoting wellbeing through positive psychology and coaching psychology.

Matthew holds an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology & Coaching Psychology from the University of East London and is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coach Federation. With over 350 hours of coaching experience accrued over the past 4.5 years, he has guided more than 100 clients in areas such as career clarity, life coaching, and wellbeing coaching.

Leveraging his experience as a former academic mentor at a polytechnic, Matthew has honed his skills in promoting effective teaching and learning practices for adult learners. His expertise in curriculum development and continuing education and training programs for working adults has enabled him to create highly engaging and impactful learning experiences that cater to the unique needs of both corporate organizations and educational institutions. As a current faculty member at The School of Positive Psychology, Matthew designs, delivers, and assesses Positive Psychology modules. His expertise has led him to collaborate with notable organizations and schools, such as Citibank, GuocoLand, FlexOS, Décor & Dwell, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, National University of Singapore, and Yishun Secondary School, providing them with wellbeing and resilience training.
