Outline

Working for a new build Integrated Train Testing Centre (ITTC) based in Singapore (with SIEMENS & LTA), its being modelled at international level. Responsible for Installation of Power supply system, Stinger system, OCR and ROCR system.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedules work with reference to contractual schedules.
  • Attend to all operational matters related to the daily running of the project
  • Liaise and lead in workshop discussion with customers concerning approval of plans and design drawings, acceptance of work, progress of work, problem solving, etc.
  • Negotiate contract terms with vendor, subcontracts including cost & timescale. 
  • Prepare the (MSRA) Method statement Risk Assessment.
  • Ensure project to be executed in accordance with approved plans/drawings, contract specifications and regulations, Preparation of Materials Submission, Progress Report for project
  • Conduct site survey as required, Coordinate goods delivery with suppliers and sub-con as required
  • To clear all the obstructions and clashes on site.

 

 

Key achievement

Managed a team of 2 sub-contractors, 3 suppliers, 2 site engineer, 3 Safety personal, 2 supervisors and 16 workers to install the below systems, successfully completing each system on schedule within budget.

The Project Value is (SGD) $1.83 million.

 

Installation of (ROCR) Retractable Overhead Conductor Rail Sicat SRD.

  • ROCR Panel, Pole Installation/Anchoring on the column for ROCR Support, Base Plate Installation (Motorized and Non-motorized), Cantilever Arm, Insulator and Suspension Clamp Installation with Accessories.
  • Conductor rail, Contactor rail ramp and contact wire Installation by using wagon with scaffolding/Boom Lift/Lorry Crane. 
  • DC Traction cable 1500V, Control, Earth and Comm cable Installation with containment. 

Installation of Fixed Stinger System in Workshop 

  • Stinger Panels, Support, Reel, EPB, Horn, High-level light, ECO and Stinger accessories Installation
  • Yutaka, Proconnect, RCB, JB, Plug box, Authorization panel and Pit Light Installation.
  • DC Traction cable 750V, Cable for reel, Control, Earth and Comm cable Installation with containment. 

Installation of Power Supply and Traction Power System 

  • Installation of 22kV MV switchgear, ACDB, DCDB, PLC, ITB, EPB, Battery system and Service Transformers.
  • Installation of 750VDC Switchgear, Inverter & Rectifier Transformer, Inverter & Rectifier Uni and etc, 
  • Installation of 1500VDC Switchgear, Inverter & Rectifier Transformer, Inverter & Rectifier Uni and etc.

Outline

Working for a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, the leader of the consortium, will supply the power distribution system, tracks and will also undertake overall project management and system integration. Responsible for Installation of Power supply system, Signaling System, Supporting to Procurement and Business team

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages construction activities, Schedule & Preparation of Project close out report.
  • Manages the schedule of installation of PSY (Power Supply System) equipment’s 24KV GIS switchgear, RMU, Aux. Transformer, UPS system. 24kV main line cables and readiness for T&C and energizations.
  • Manage Site issues and analyses the on-site problems and eliminate the obstructions to expedite and complete the works as per schedule.
  • Prepare SAT Procedures, Testing & Commissioning Test Record Forms,
  • Manage Construction team for early access/ interface and coordinate with other sub-system over-site to jobsites. This includes managing Installation Sub-Contractor.
  • Energization Procedures & Schedule. 
  • Coordination for Installation of OCS components and their Foundation
  • Support the Construction & T&C Manager in all activities.
  • Responsible for providing the power supply for all the Signaling Systems.
  • Coordinating, monitoring, liaison with various parties on Automatic Fare Collecting System(AFC) project work activities

The Main Contractor: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, the leader of the consortium, will supply the power distribution system, platform screen doors, tracks and tunnel ventilation work, and will also undertake overall project management and system integration in one of the world’s largest projects for a single metro system.

 

Outline

Working for a Construction company based in Doha, Qatar. Responsible for managing the Installation of Station Power supply system and Traction power supply system and their sub-contracting, procurement negotiation, payment claim with client. Direct reporting Managing director.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and Planning to multiple sites for Cable tray Installation, equipment installation, cable installation and Termination, Testing of equipment’s and LV&MV cable of Traction power system/station power system. 
  • Installation of Cable, Cable testing & termination of Traction power system/ Station power system such as MV Cable(33kV), LV Cable (<11kV), Control cable, Earth system, LAN cable, Fiber Optic cable.
  • Manage the T&C for High voltage & Very Low Frequency (VLF) test of (33Kv) MV cable and special PTW wherever required to work such location third rail area, way side, tunnel, energized MV/LV substation.
  • Similarly, responsible for the operations and Integration tests of all PDS systems and Energized the Tunnel Ventilation System (TVS) Panels for the above stations.
  • Managing the LOTO and PTW if required by any subcontractors or any other departments.
  • Responsible for providing the power supply for all the Signaling Systems (Thales) in Red Line stations.
  • Maintain the standards of safety and comply with the Company’s Health, Safety and Environment
  • Liaise with Civil contractor to rectify clashes, omissions and any findings which will hinder the installation progress ahead of time
  • Verify cable trays/ladders, Busduct installations and confirm clear run for cable installations.
  • Managing the subcontractor and ensured three months look ahead and three weeks rolling programs are feasible and are followed.
  • Supervise the installation of 33kV MV Switchgear, LV Panels, Transformers, Rectifier & Inverter Panels with insulated base frames for 750DC Panel Installation.
  • Supervise the installation of MV, LV, DC and Control Cables by the subcontractor.
  • Ensure that the installation and cable terminations are followed with the latest approved drawings and method statements.
  • Updating As Built drawings to the design team.
  • Escalate major issues to the management which can affect negatively to the look ahead and rolling programs.
