Rachel Ng

I am a creative and people-oriented individual who has the passion towards crafting engaging and informative content that captivates readers and delivers valuable messages. Additionally, I am skilled at problem solving, adapt well to dynamic environments and cooperate well with the team.

I will be graduating from Singapore Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Hospitality Business, specialised in Marketing, in August 2023 and looking to start work from September onwards. 

Currently, I am a freelance social media assistant and content creator, specialising in documenting home renovation and styling journeys, for feature on SquareRoomsMagazine's first ever show format. I am currently managing both instagram and lemon8, writing posts and applying editing & videography tools to create content.

As a content intern at Pico Arts International for my university internship, I excelled at creating compelling story ideas and crafting contextual written content based on client resources and independent research. Additionally, I gained valuable skills in copywriting, editing, and proofreading various communication materials for exhibitions, events, galleries, and museums. During my internship, I have contributed to 1)  Newly Revamped Singapore Maritime Gallery, 2) Ranger Buddies Mandai Wildlife Reserve and other projects. 

Prior to that, I contributed as a Guest Service Officer at InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay during my polytechnic internship which have helped me to gain good interpersonal skills.
