Shanon Tharmalingam

Shanon is a Senior Network Architect based out in Singapore. Has been working on networking for almost 20 years now, with exposures on designing, deployments and teaching customers of the next generation DC technologies. Involved in IT industry, doing Service-provider technologies, Wifi technologies, DC Technologies and now exposure into AI, with companies like Cisco, Huawei, HPE, Juniper, Nokia, Arista and Equinix now. 

Personally involved in Malaysia Nationwide design/deployments of Maxis-Huawei MPLS nationwide, Cisco-PS Core DC with Maxis, then in DC with TM-Arista based nationwide with first EVPN-VXLAN 3 active-active based DC's, design and deploy EVPN-VXLAN active-active DC in Lotuss(previously known as Tesco), & many more.

I Equinix, as SRE, involved in last tier operational support, working with Engineering to enhance the network, and involve AI to assist with faster troubleshooting and issue resolving. Created apps with the team on Network wide telemetry. 

Shanon is certified CCNA, CCNP, CCIE-W, Huawei(HCDA), Arista ACE-L1,L3,L5, and wifi Arista ACE-Campus & Ekahau ECSE-D. 

Also completed the National University of Singapore course in Generative AI.

Bachelor Degree in Electronics, majoring microwave and communications
