Experience

  • Head of pre-opening team for outlets - including conceptualisation, renovation, management and execution (coordination of between stakeholders, regulatory bodies and vendors).
  • Heads daily operations for both outlets, including full setup catering for events.
  • Financial planning, forecasting, cost management of outlets, strategic operating plans and future expansion mapping.
  • Developed core and seasonal menu, recipes (mains, pastry, desserts and beverages), packaging for dine in, delivery, catering and production. 
  • Create and update SOPs into training manuals to ensure business continuity. 
  • Ensures compliance of company’s internal controls, polices, and procedures by all employees.
  • Implemented ways to streamline processes within the company - optimisation of FOH, BOH, deliveries, catering and production to maximise net profits.
  • Batch scaling production from 1 to 140 portions with shelf-life testing and monitoring whilst maintaining best quality possible and occupying a small footprint. 
  • Control operational costs and identifying measures to cut waste including managing food waste in all stages of operation and cross training among employees to allow efficient labour allocations.
  • Periodic negotiations with landlord and suppliers for better prices by ensuring good relations, reasonable credit terms and prompt settlement of payments. 
  • Created a safe, inclusive, fair, non-discriminatory and pleasant work environment for the whole team whilst providing opportunities for career progression and minimising attrition rates.
  • Implemented Food Safety Management Systems for catering, conducts Food Hygiene Audits for retail outlets and applied for MUIS Certification for both catering and retail outlets.
  • Implemented business continuity plans throughout the COVID’19 pandemic - attrition rate kept to below 5%, with overall revenue improved by over 22% YOY despite the regulations.
  • Managed all of the restaurant’s social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
  • Achieved Google Rating of 4.3 stars with 1500+ reviews for Yishun Outlet and 4.6 stars with 150+ reviews for Beatty Road Outlet.

Rated 3 stars on Food King (‘Food King Good’) and featured on other media platforms such as StraitsTimes, 8Days, Mothership, and Seth Lui.
