About Zheng Xuan Lee:

Nice to meet you! I'm currently a sophomore in NTU Computer Science. I aspire to become a software developer, be it web, mobile or desktop etc. I love exploring new tools and languages. Additionally, I'm excited to work in teams and learn from peers to improve my code cleanliness and development knowledge.  

Experience

I'm a self-taught React.js developer. I have created a few personal projects using Next.js, MaterialUI, ExpressJS, Firebase. 

Some notable projects are 

  1. StayHereLah (Javascript, ReactJS, Styled-components, Beautiful Soup, Firebase)
    • Built a platform to streamline the planning process of purchasing a BTO in Singapore as the current rules and regulations provided by HDB can be a hassle and confusing for first time buyers.
  2. Clothing Ecommerce (ReactJS, Styled-components, ExpressJS, Stripe, JWT, MongoDB, Redux)
    • Developed a full-stack web application using React with Styled-components in the front-end and Express.js with MongoDB in the back-end. It uses JWT tokens to authenticate and authorise users.
  3. Idle Tidal Band Official Website (Javascript, NextJS, TailwindCSS, Axios)
    • Developed a front-end web application from scratch using NextJS with TailwindCSS as styling for a friend's band. The web app serves as an alternative to LinkTree with additional features such as integration of YouTube API to grab the latest video from the band's channel. The web app is hosted on Vercel.
