Overview

The Strategic Technical Lead (STL) is a senior role within the global Strategic Partnership Team (SPT) working with Microsoft's key customers worldwide. The focus is on maximizing digital transformation opportunities through the Microsoft Azure platform.

Qualifications

This role is centered on the Azure platform, particularly 'Apps & Infra' and data & AI, based in Singapore/Hong Kong. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred due to the focus on the Greater China Region.

Responsibilities

The Strategic Technical Lead oversees technical strategies, collaborating with various teams and global partners. The role demands strong technical expertise, commercial acumen, and the ability to lead without direct authority.

As a key player in high-profile deals, this role involves coaching, mentoring, and creating scalable solutions to drive business outcomes.

Technical Leadership:

Lead technical strategies for local, regional, and global opportunities.
Coach teams towards desired technical outcomes.
Represent the technology domain to customer leaders and Microsoft senior management.
Promote reference architectures and provide input for programmatic frameworks.

Sales/Commercial Acumen:

Translate customer visions into technical strategies on the Microsoft Azure platform.
Create commercial projections aligned with customer strategies.
Qualify and prioritize opportunities aligned with sales strategies.
Apply advanced sales methodologies and inspire customers in digital transformation.

Digital Transformation:

Drive large-scale digital transformations in multiple industries.
Understand business priorities and technical drivers in international organizations.

Collaborate on architecture patterns for strategic partnerships.

Broad Technical Expertise:

Expertise in cloud technologies.
