Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

To lead & manage large and complex projects in the country.
To plan, coordinate & control all the appointed M&E sub-contractors for implementing the projects.
To liaise with the customer, building management on site related activities.
Coordinate with Vertiv's internal team in terms of equipment delivery & testing and commissioning plan, and provide direction to the project team to ensure clear allocation of resources and setup mitigating actions in anticipation of possible resources/manpower scarcity.
To manage & control the M&E services drawings quality among the sub-contractors via the systematic drafting system.
Drive executive level engagement with the customers, to ensure clear expectations and responsibilities are understood by all parties --- Vertiv, Customer, Main Contractor & other subcontractors involved.
To provide the weekly progress report update to the Vertiv sales & management team timely.
To conduct the individual team review meeting & prepare the minutes of meeting for turnkey / sizeable jobs & review with the Project Manager.
To submit monthly sales plans for assigned projects & work closely with the Project Manager on the projected monthly sales plan.
To work closely with procurement & conduct the quality audit checks on our appointed sub-contractors to ensure installation quality.
To work closely with the project administrator to provide financial revenue phasing, project closure & project margin analysis timely.
To serve as a senior role model to the project team to instill discipline, increase morale, foster a harmonious working environment &, if assigned, to be a mentor to junior Project Engineers.
To be an advocate for work safety culture and Vertiv's safety policies.
To be accountable in executing project cost estimates diligently and ensure project profitability.

Job Requirements

Degree in M&E Engineering.
Minimum 5 years site M&E experience preferable in the Data Centre site preparation environment.
Experience in budgeting, planning, control & managing resources.
Experience in presenting to project stakeholders.
Able to work under operational pressure in a fast-paced, tight schedule environment.
Aggressive, proactive & hard working and able to work as part of a team.
Well-versed in the Microsoft Office, Project & Autocad software.
Has the leadership potential to manage a full project team.
Preferable "PMP" certified.
