- Develop curriculum visions and philosophies relevant to the community care sector in alignment with SLEC's vision for Training and Development.
- Oversee instructional and pedagogical outcomes and standards, including implementing quality framework and strategies to monitor the results.
- Monitor and ensure that the outcomes are met with assessment strategies, exercises, content, subject matter analysis, and interactive activities.
- Establish strong teaching and learning processes to design learning experiences and create an environment conducive to developing learners' confidence, holistic growth, and mastery of learning.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to design, develop, and revise classroom, virtual, and e-learning content using instructional design and rapid development strategies.
- Create curricular documents which include the principles in designing and developing curriculum, such as course blueprints, learning objectives, lesson plans, facilitator guides, assessment methodologies, etc.
- Degree or master's degree in education, instructional design or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in instructional design for adult learning or in training and development, or equivalent.
- Deep domain knowledge in curriculum design & learning pedagogy.
- Fluency with instructional systems design models and methodologies and authoring tools.
- WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training & Performance (ACLP) or WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment (ACTA).
- Certification in WSQ Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance (DDDLP) or WSQ Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE) will be an advantage.
- Prior work experience in the healthcare education sector will be an advantage.
- Team player with strong interpersonal, communications and organisational skills.
- Capable of working independently and under time constraints.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.

Within our network of eldercare centres island-wide, the goal is to provide appropriate and affordable eldercare service to families who are in need of day care for their senior members and relatives.
We provide a suite of integrated services and programmes which include social day, dementia, nursing and respite care, along with Rehabilitation programmes such as physiotherapy and occupational therapy, wellness programmes and transportation. Through these services we hope to provide the finest service to the elderly in our care.
We are looking for a Curriculum Specialist to join the team.
As a curriculum specialist, you will create and improve SLEC's current curriculum visions and philosophies in alignment with SLEC's vision for Training and Development. You will also be expected to collaborate with subject matter experts to maintain a variety of learning experiences.
