- Responsible for processing, verifying, and reconciling all payments and expenses, along with the day-to-day management of all payment cycles, in a timely and efficient manner.
- Review and maintain Vendor Master Data
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Manage BPO Team to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures. Develop, implement, and maintain relevant KPIs to measure the team performance.
- Ensure compliance with accepted accounting practices and company policies. Audit and validate data to meet audit and the local authority requirements
- Prepare monthly AP management reports and lead timely resolution of aged accounts and items
- Allocate costs to correct G/L accounts, and be responsible for the analysis of related P&L and B/S accounts
- Undertake systems projects with the objective of creating efficiencies, and the automation of the PTP process
- Take a pro-active approach to identify opportunities to implement process improvements across the AP function and prepare related procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree or above in accounting related disciplines; CA or CPA is preferred
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an AP Accountant or external auditor in a large multinational organization; prior experience in tech industry is a plus.
- Sound accounting knowledge of the end to end AP process; experienced in leading the month-end and year-end closing .
- Highly skilled and experienced in implementing organisational systems, procedures, and processes
- Proven ability to build effective relationships with key internal stakeholders and customers, strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team, show initiative & be self-motivated
- Be reliable, responsible & accountable
- Experience in managing BPO service is a plus.

With our strong business growth, Tencent Finance is currently looking for an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant who will support the full Procure to Pay (PTP) process across the assigned markets and business groups. Reporting to the Head of Department, the seasoned AP Accountant or External Auditor candidate would own the full PTP activities and process, prepare AP reports and perform variance analysis while participating in any system and/or process improvement projects to drive digitalisation regionally and globally.
