Description
1. Design, develop, and qualify test sockets, burn in sockets, manual actuator/loader and heat sink in accordance with project requirements.


  • Develop technologies and process know-how needed to produce superior designs.
  • Provide guidance in new product introduction, manufacturing, and servicing.
  • Provide guidance in assembly and quality control.
  • Prepare and maintain product design and production documents such as 3D/2D drawing and BOM, product specification, test report, and product manual.
  • Any other duties assigned by Engineering Manager and General Manager.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- min 8 years of relevant working experience in test socket and burn in socket development.

  • Completed test sockets and burn in sockets development cycle from design concept to prototype and production.
  • Experienced in CAD tools such as SolidWorks.
  • Experienced in mechanical design at part, assembly, and system level.
  • Good understanding of GD&T.
  • Knowledgeable in socket material characteristics, machining, injection molding, anodization.
  • Good knowledge in design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).
  • Understand product quality control systems and procedures.
  • Familiar with pogo pins, contact fingers, test socket and burn in socket requirements and test methodology.
  • Familiarity with thermal system, FEA, signal integrity simulation is a plus.
  • Able to work under pressure with a sense of responsibility.
  • A team player with good writing and communication skills.
  • Occasional travel to customers' sites.
