- Effectively teach individual and group classes for young children aged 2-4 years old.
- Commit to teaching lessons at high quality following the Aureus curriculum for young learners.
- Thoroughly plan and prepare lessons.
- Maintain active communication with parents regarding students' progress before and after lessons.
- Organize ad-hoc activities for children and their families, including recitals, camps, and music exploration sessions.
- Contribute to the school's growth through participation in events, roadshows, and other growth initiatives.
- Keep detailed progress records for each child and actively communicate with parents to build good rapport.
- Foster a nurturing and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression among young children.
- Participate in all Aureus teacher training program, professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay abreast of best practices in early childhood education.
- Support the overall mission and values of the school, and uphold professional standards of conduct and ethics.
- Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education, Education, Arts or related field required
- At least 2-3 years of experience working with children preferred
- Love for working with young children, and keen interest in their overall growth and development
- Basic knowledge of music theory and/or music performance experience preferred (equivalent to grade 1-3 ABRSM)
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Positive, outgoing personality and a team player
- Willing to complete mandatory Training Programme to facilitate Aureus Music curriculum for young students * Professional certification is available
- Base Salary ranging from $3,000 - $4,000
- Monthly Tier Performance Bonus ranging from $500 to $1,200
