- Contributing to the overall accomplishment of the CG-9 mission to acquire interoperable assets and systems that support USCG operational forces in executing missions effectively and efficiently.
- Supporting the planning and management of the CG-9's Human Capital Strategic Plan. The plan is updated annually, and the incumbent has a key role in continually reviewing accomplishments and recommending new, expanded and on-going initiatives.
- Leads CG-9 workforce succession planning projects and initiatives, enabling the Direcortorate to plan and implement recruitment, selection, development and retention
strategies for building and maintaining a highly competent workforce now and in the future. - Analyzing and integrating workforce management information developed through the planning and budgeting process to prioritize relevant workforce requirements.
- Establishing new and maintaining business relationships with sponsors, stakeholders and partners.
- Serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative. Define and coordinate requirements to administer procurements and contract activities to support identified operational needs.
- Evaluate contractor performance within the technical provisions of the contract, order, or agreement in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications.
