Key Responsibilities We're looking for a deep technical hands-on engineer who will be:
•Has deep technical coding and developing DevOps scripts automation using groovy scripts, pipelines thru Jenkins, Bitbucket, etc
•Hands on coding, script, automate using pipelines to build sustain, housekeep daily builds, workspace, etc.
•Always able to find ways to automate, develop scripts, innovate new ideas to reduce human work and repetitive tasks.
•Deep knowledge on DevOps tools API automation capabilities
•Supporting and maintaining full stack DevOps toolsets. (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Appscan, Artifactory, xRay)
•Troubleshoot, deep dive RCA and fix DevOps platform issues related to DevOps platforms
•Support OS and DevOps applications patching related activities.
•Remediate DevOps infrastructure issues such as Control-M jobs, backup jobs, BMC Alerts, schedulers, cron-batch, shell scripting commands, etc.
•Deep Technical exposure of automation thru server side Unix/Linux shell scripting
•Work with the vendors to support, upgrade the DevOps tools and Integrating Web APIs
•Nice to have: Configuring SSO, SSL, Load Balancer, Auto Scaling and DNS setup for the DevOps Toolset with naming convention. Key Requirements Must:
•Develop, code, script automation pipelines, scripts thru Jenkins and plugins APIs
•Able to develop new automation scripts thru Jenkins pipelines (Groovy scripts, REST APIs)
•Prior hand-on experience in coding, developing and maintaining CI/CD build, deploy pipelines
•Deep technical background, with hands-on experience in CI/CD toolset (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Veracode, Appscan, JIRA and Confluence).
•Experience with using APIs to connect toolchains to ensure end to end automation deliveries
•Deep Technical experience in automation with groovy scripts.
•Deep technical experience in server-side Unix/Linux shell scripting.
•Prior working experience installing, configuring, integrating, upgrading and patching CI/CD toolset. Should:
•Build relationships, with development communities and developers
•Comfortable working in a challenging environment
•Able to design a strategy and then execute against it
•Manage delivery of complex projects by simplifying into smaller deliveries
•Analysing, documenting and validating business requirements
•Ability to benchmark industry standard tools and implement it UOB Advantageous
•Knowledge of best practices, market and Banking industry trends around Jenkins infrastructure
•Knowledge on Jenkins sustainability ( apply best practises on housekeeping rules, policies for Jenkins jobs, repo branches, retention periods, naming conventions, etc)
•Extensive background in working in areas of software development, REST APIs, integrations, and application deployment.
•Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments
•Experience working in a matrixed organization
•Demonstration of strong technical skills
