- Assist in developing a project plan to implement a USCIS gift authority policy under expedited timeframes.
- Work with USCIS Office of Privacy, Office of Chief Counsel, and Office of Policy and Strategy and other partners to assist in drafting a gift authority Standard Operating Procedure and implementation guidance to provide oversight, administration, and management of all policies and procedures around gifts.
- Research gift policies and directives at other federal agencies to inform USCIS policy development.
- Keep OCPE and EXA leadership appraised of project milestones; and
- Other duties as assigned.

Duties
The detailee will join the new Office of Citizenship, Partnership, and Engagement ("OCPE") within the External Affairs Directorate at USCIS.
The office is leading several priorities for the agency related to immigrant integration as well as promoting the naturalization process and engaging with detailee will serve as a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst/Program Manager to assist in managing a new initiative whereby USCIS may utilize statutory authority to solicit, accept, administer and utilize gifts for the purpose of providing an immigrant integration grants program and related activities to promote citizenship and immigrant integration.
OCPE is seeking a Management and Program Analyst to support continued development of a Gift Authority policy and draft operational guidance to establish the program.
