    Purpose Of The Role
     Presidio is looking to add a Financial Accountant to its existing Finance team in Singapore. As Financial Accountant you will be responsible for looking after the day to day financial matters of our APAC entities, with a particular focus on accurate and timely monthly reporting. This position will report to the Finance Manager in APAC.

    Responsibilities

  • Preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts (Sage System) including analysis of accounts, journal postings and other month-end processing
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and other control procedures
  • Day to day cash/bank management
  • Day to day monitoring of working capital (Stock, debtors and creditors)
  • Managing accounts payables, accounts receivables and fixed assets
  • Prepare and file for quarterly GST and withholding taxes (if any)
  • Liaison with external consultants in preparation of Tax returns
  • Assisting in year-end financial reporting and liaison with external auditors
  • Review of payroll
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Working with the team to ensure the highest standards of internal controls and financial support services are in place to support the business
  • Assist all company stakeholders with any technical queries which may arise

    • Education And Experience

  • Highly motivated and ambitious qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent)
  • + years PQE in industry
  • Instinctively analytical, highly accurate, detailed oriented, and has strong follow-up
  • Ability to produce results, prioritising objectives and scheduling work to make the best use of time and ensure deadlines are met
  • Assertive, flexible and open to change with a 'Can-Do' attitude
  • Ability to ensure controls and procedures are followed
  • Positive working attitude, willing to learn and willing to hands-on
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with others
  • Display personal commitment, effort, motivation and initiative in all business dealings
  • Strong IT skills; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Experience of Sage an advantage but not essential
