Roles & Responsibilities

Job Title: Data Analyst

Job Description: As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive business insights and decision-making. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around designing and analysing data models, collaborating with stakeholders, and developing scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Analysis:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data models and analytical solutions.

Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights crucial for decision-making.

Work closely with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.

Lead the design and architecture of the data warehouse solution, including data modeling, schema design, and indexing strategies.

Development:

Define data requirements and design scalable data storage solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to the data warehouse infrastructure to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and performance indicators.

Design and implement scalable data pipelines for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes from various sources into the data warehouse.

Optimize data pipeline performance and reliability to ensure timely and accurate data processing.

Implement data quality checks and validation processes to uphold data integrity and consistency.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in data analysis and data engineering roles, with a focus on designing and implementing data warehouse solutions.

Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.

Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Hands-on experience with ETL tools and frameworks.

Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala.

Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques, including dimensional modeling and star schema.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analyst-related roles.
