- Prepare/Review MAS/Department of Statistics reports.
- Perform/Review variance analysis on MAS/Department of Statistics reports.
- Liaise with regulators and internal stakeholders on regulatory reporting matters.
- Participate in projects relating to regulatory reporting
- Participate in month-end closing activities.
- Work closely with business, technology and other stakeholders from project initiation, testing to deployment
- Understand business requirements and translate them into functional requirements
- Evaluate business processes and ensure deliverable from project team meets regulatory requirements
- Participate in projects including system migrations and analyzing impact on regulatory reporting
- Enhance existing report logic and improve efficiency
- Prepare/Review ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare annual statutory accounts and liaise with auditors.
- Maintain local procedures/controls.
- Other ad hoc tasks
- You should have legal work rights in the country of internship.
- Ability to understand and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Comfortable communicating across business functions and levels of seniority
- Self-starter, pro-active and team player
- Able to multi- task and must be hands on
- Proven analytical background
- Good data management skills
- Project management experience is a plus
- Proficiency in Python, SQL and other tool links is a plus
- Strong software skills, in particular Microsoft Excel
- Good experience in Agile development methodologies
