    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Supervise the Payroll team and monitor the accuracy of payroll processing and ensure all payroll and tax regulatory filings are completed timely
    • Review payroll summary and variance reports to ensure accuracy of the payroll results as generated in the trial payroll run
    • Initiate payroll payment runs and approve any payment exceptions made outside the main payment method (i.e. cheque payments)
    • Responsible for approving the final payroll journal posting to the general ledger and for closing payroll
    • Review intercompany billing to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of the charge back information
    • Provide coaching and guidance to the Payroll team
    • Provide payroll and tax advisory support to stakeholders
    • Support all internal and external audits related to payroll and tax;
    • Produce payroll reports for Payroll Manager, CFO and HR when needed
    • Ensure SOPs are reviewed and updated regularly
    • Review and introduce continuous improvements for payroll processes and automation
    • Support Payroll Manager in establishing KPIs and goals for the Payroll Processing team and evaluating the team's performance throughout the year
    • Participate in other ad-hoc projects as assigned by the Payroll Manager
    • Ensure that service is delivered to customers in accordance with pre-defined Service Level Agreements
    • Cultivate customer service mindset and promote collaboration between the Keppel FSSC teams

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Good knowledge in HRIS and payroll software such as Workday and SAP
    • Preferably from payroll outsourcing background
    • Experienced in regional payroll is a plus
