- Active coverage of trade related FX generated through securities dealing
- Handling of ad hoc FX requests / special handling from Investment teams
- Ensure that queries and issues from internal and external parties are handled efficiently and act as an escalation point
- Ongoing monitoring of cash projections and independently undertake appropriate action to cover shortfalls or repatriate funds
- Initiation of Fixed Deposits and Money Market Securities for excess cash while ensuring limits are not breached
- Handling FX Collateralisation queries for new portfolios and on an ad-hoc basis
- Perform FX Hedging and rollover for Investment teams
- Support our Investment desks' requests for new markets / instruments
- Drive initiatives that complement and extend the team's capability across Investment Services
- Unit Trust dealing - own the execution process including troubleshooting and the implementation of new transfer agency relationships
- Trading Support post execution services - Supporting the trading desks within the APAC region to efficiently cancel and correct orders
- Trading Platform Operational Support – Provide required oversight
- Fixed deposit execution services
- A matured, independent and proactive worker with good interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to connect with people
- Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
- A team player with high attention to detail, good analytical and problem solving abilities.
- A critical thinker who is able to look at things from different angles
- Able to prioritize effectively and work under pressure
- Degree graduate in either Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance discipline
- Preferably at least 5 years of experience in a Cash Management and/or Settlements related role
- Comfortable to work independently and collaboratively with Investment desks, Dealing desks, Risk team and the wider Operations team
- Good understanding of front to back end processes, markets and instruments
- Ideally with Aladdin experience

Team Overview
The Investment Support Team provides support to the Investment and Trading Teams in the Schroders Asset Management Business and works with teams across Schroders to implement change. The team aims to enable business growth, make data improvements, manage risk and simplify the business. A part of the wider Investment Support team, the Singapore based Investment and Trading Support team completes a range of support functions across Trading and Cash Management areas for the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities
The lead analyst is an experienced member of the Investment Services team that performs daily responsibilities which can include oversight within the team and as an escalation point. Some coaching and mentoring of junior members will be expected.
The role will also contribute to projects and be expected to proactively look for opportunities to engage with the Investment and Operations communities to look for greater operational and implementation efficiencies.
The Investment Services team based in Singapore support delegated responsibilities that can be split into two broad categories for which the lead analyst role will regularly rotate between to ensure ongoing coverage and crossing training for the team.
