Responsibilities

We are looking for a Trading Intern to join the desk on a 6-month basis. Applicants looking for part time internships are welcome to apply.

Research Support:

Conduct thorough research on global macroeconomic trends, financial markets, and specific asset classes, including cryptocurrencies.
Update and improve existing trading and economic analytics and visualisation tools for desk use.
Support the desk with writing daily market updates and prepare material for weekly trading and risk calls.

Trading Strategy Assistance:

Collaborate with the trading team to assist in developing and back testing trading strategies.
Conduct historical data analysis and assist in optimizing existing quantitative models.

Requirements

Strong passion for the financial markets including the ability to have intelligent conversations on current market trends
Prior experience or coursework in finance, economics, or quantitative analysis is preferred but not required
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Coding experience in Python in the context of statistical and data analysis is preferred
Familiarity with Bloomberg and market data providers is a plus
