- Lead business development initiatives to expand market presence and grow the customer base
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers across European governments, institutions, and space agencies
- Work closely with engineering and technical teams to fully understand and clearly articulate the company's services and value proposition
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with revenue targets and long-term business objectives
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs
- Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations, proposals, and pitches tailored to prospective clients
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring commercially favourable terms while building trusted client relationships
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to strengthen visibility and expand networks
- Proven experience in business development within the satellite industry (ideally upstream)
- Experience working in a scale-up environment or on bootstrap-mode projects
- Demonstrated track record of successfully closing deals in the satellite or space sector
- Strong ability to identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through to contract negotiation
- Solid experience preparing business proposals and commercial documentation
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate about technical problems and propose insightful solutions for customers.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and company representation.
