Roles & Responsibilities

Overview

Join us as a Senior Tax Associate where your main responsibilities include preparing tax filing documentation, gathering information for tax reviews, and conducting tax research projects. Your role is pivotal in our tax team, staying informed on new tax laws and trends to suggest compliant tax strategies for clients' tax obligations. We seek enthusiastic individuals with a drive to push boundaries and find innovative approaches to achieve our objectives.

Core Responsibilities

Ensure clients' adherence to tax regulations and meet tax filing deadlines for corporate and individual taxes.
Assist in preparing tax computations for various client types including individuals, sole proprietorships, partnerships, and corporations.
Deliver high-quality tax services to clients within scheduled timelines.
Promote open communication to enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and identify areas for enhancement.
Cultivate professional relationships with clients and internal departments.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Perform additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Hold a Diploma in Accountancy or a relevant field, with a preference for a Degree or equivalent professional certifications like ACCA, CPA.
Being accredited by SCTP is a bonus.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience, particularly in Singapore tax matters; candidates with over 3-4 years may be considered for a Senior Associate role.
Basic knowledge of GST is advantageous.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Proactive with strong analytical skills.
Effective problem-solving skills, dedication, and resilience in challenging situations.
Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
Detailed-oriented, organized, and methodical in work approach.
Self-motivated and result-driven.
