Roles & Responsibilities

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and practices, as well as experience with Singapore tax regulations. They will be responsible for a wide range of financial tasks, including:

Overall review and approval of company expenses, accounting, and financial statement preparation.
Enhancing financial strategies, policies, and procedures to fortify the organization's financial health and stability.
Skillfully managing cash flow and mitigating financial risks to maximize overall financial performance.
Liaison with MAS and reporting required information to regulatory bodies, with experience in licensed companies.
Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Process all vendor payments, including fund and management group as well as maintain invoice tracker.
Accountable for submission of GST returns, withholding tax and income tax returns to IRAS.
Ensure all financial regulatory reporting stipulated by regulatory bodies is submitted accurately and within the specified deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Review and approve expense reports, invoices, and other financial documents.
Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts.
Stay up-to-date on Singapore tax laws and regulations.
Prepare and file Singapore tax returns.
Work with external auditors to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.
Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls.
Prepare financial presentations for management.
Serve as a liaison between the company and MAS, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Prepare and submit required reports to MAS in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain open communication with MAS representatives and address any concerns promptly.
Stay up-to-date on changes to MAS regulations and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial accounting role.
Experience with Singapore tax regulations.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
