About our client
Based in Singapore, our client offer a comprehensive range of services in the realm of personal mobility. Initially established as a private hire car leasing company to cater to the demands of the emerging sharing economy.

Its primary focus has been leasing vehicles to ride-hailing drivers, and within a span of just 8 years, it has amassed one of the largest car fleets in Singapore.


Leveraging its substantial vehicle inventory and strong driver partnerships, our client is poised to innovate in vehicle configuration, driver training and deployment, as well as technology and data utilization, to develop mobility platform services that significantly impact daily life.

They are looking for a financial controller to join them.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and provide strategic direction to the finance team, fostering effective collaboration with other departments.
  • Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies, forecasting, and budgeting processes to support business objectives.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis and present insights to the executive team for informed decisionmaking.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
  • Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow management and working capital optimization.
  • Assess and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the company's financial health and stability.
  • Drive process improvements in financial operations and systems for increased efficiency.
  • Collaborate with senior management in developing longterm financial plans and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 to 12 years of progressive finance experience, with a significant portion in a leadership role.
  • Proven leadership skills with at least 5 years of team management experience.
  • Superior mathematical skills and strong numerical proficiency.
  • Thorough understanding of data privacy standards.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and public speaking abilities.
  • Deep understanding of business principles and practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational and planning skills.
  • Handson approach with operations to achieve business excellence.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problemsolving skills.
