- Manage a team of officers in carrying out cable fault repairs, minor reinforcement works, diversion works, removal of unused service cables, network equipment maintenance works, LV overhead network maintenance works, substation maintenance works, district office maintenance works and DC units maintenance works.
- Plan, implement and manage the various works programmes in accordance to budget provisions and schedules.
- Plan and manage the OPEX and CAPEX.
- Write service contracts' specifications, call tenders and manage the various service contracts.
- Allocate manpower and logistics resources in carrying out various work activities.
- Formulate and review work procedures and practices.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports, write replies to customers, draft minutes of meetings, put up technical papers and draft submission papers.
- Lead and participate in study team, task force or committee.
- Attend to customers' complaints and feedback.
- Perform site management and supervise contractors.
- Perform HT standby duty during and after-office hours.
- Assume role of a Customer Manger for Key Account Customers.
- Prepare contingency plans, organise standby arrangements and perform standby duty for special events.
- Identify strengths and weaknesses of his junior officers and arrange appropriate training and development courses.
- Provide coaching, counselling and guidance to his officers.
- Work out and coordinate training programmes for student attachments and visitors.
- Any other duties as and when assigned.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board Singapore
- Good oral and written communication skills
- A team player with a positive working attitude and the ability to handle tight deadlines
