About the role

The Business Finance Intern will work closely with the Regional Finance Analyst on FP&A responsibilities to support ASPAC regional management decision making processes. This 6-month internship commences in July 2024.

What you will be doing

Assist in monthly ASPAC consolidated business financial reporting (key accounts, activity trends, trade lane analysis, operational analysis etc.)
Assist in financial reporting for Regional Singapore
Work closely with various departments (eg. Middle Office, Front Office, Management Information System, Business Intelligence) to provide ad-hoc analysis when needed
Coordinate with the Finance entity to ensure timely and accurate production of flash reports
Support region budget applications and processes (Activity Planner and Logistics Planner)
Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by function

Requirements

The successful candidate

Essential

Undergraduate in Accountancy or other finance-related courses
Excellent communication skills and problem solving skills
Advanced skills in MS Excel, with the ability to work with large data sets and complicated formulas
Willingness to understand the business

Desirable

Knowledge of Tableau and/or PowerBI
