Job Description

As a process Engineer in the project team, you will be responsible to provide high quality engineering services and specifications for the Planning, Design, Construction, Start-up, and Commissioning of your discipline specific Facilities systems in support of the project.

You will participate in Project Design and Scope Development, Documentation, and Control Change, Vendor Selection, Project Tendering, and onsite Discipline Project Safety, Coordination and Execution for your discipline.

The candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' working experience consisting of 5 years' experience in construction with a minimum of 5 years in Water and Gas installation field, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. He or she will have a strong working knowledge of all aspects of Water Supply, RO, DI, WWTP, and Gas systems and be able to effectively communicate with all project stakeholders. The Construction &Engineering Lead must be a team player with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Project Team Discipline Lead

Provide input and support to the Project Manager during the development of client's Procedures (Project Execution Plan and Construction execution plan).

Coordinate with GFC, Local Project Team, Vendors, AE, GC etc. to ensure successful project completion.

Meeting regularly with all stakeholders (GFC, end users, operations, project, contractors, vendors, etc.) to discuss project progress and issues that may arise during the project execution.

Track, Prepare and Report progress weekly on Project progress, risk, schedule, cost for Discipline. Overseeing the project team's work to ensure that they meet deadlines and milestones.

Ensure all Project scope is executed to Safety Standards and requirements. Review all Job plans for high risk during construction in discipline related areas /scope.

Review of project documents for compliance with company standards and procedures to ensure that they meet requirements and specifications.

Identification and resolution of project issues and risks

Providing technical expertise and experience where needed to solve complex problems

Monitoring changes in legislation and industry trends to ensure that projects are up to date with best practices

Management Discipline Scope Change Process and documentation.

Provide Project Procurement Technical Support

Oversee Disciplines installation Q&A assurance and Testing and Commissioning Activities.

Coordinate and Lead Project Closeout activities for Discipline; Punch listing and verification, Documentation and System Handover.

Conducting of project meetings and site visits

Managing Design & Construction vendors and Gas Plant Supplier to ensure that they meet deadlines and deliver high-quality products or services according to specifications

Managing conflict among team members to ensure that all parties are collaborating well with each other towards the common goals/ objectives.

Ensure successful delivery of seamless facility commissioning and turnover process that focuses on the end user ( the Operations & Mainteinance).

Manage review and approve commissioning file for each systems & equipment's which includes Method Statements, single line diagram, site instructions, deviation list, various tests, equipment datasheet & specification, relay setting calculations, etc

Manage Site acceptance testing (SAT) witness and certification process for all equipment and systems. Reviewing functional test data for evidencing compliance with performance specifications and other standards. Reporting on testing and inspection results and coordinating for Engineer/ consultant's sign off /certification of the relevant systems/sub systems as applicable.

Coordinate with the Construction manager(s), Engineers, Project Manager, AE ,and GC for Inspection of respective systems /subsystem's and documentations of functional testing record sheet for disciplines.

Coordinate with GC for schedule of GC attendance at site for critical equipment, complex system packages and monitoring the GC presence as per schedule to be prepared and agreed during project execution.

Development of relationships with internal and external customers and organizations.

SIPP document check and review.

BIM sectionControl the schedule and quality of discipline BIM model.Responsible for reviewing the discipline BIM models to find and track clash, space management issues.Responsible for coordination of the BIM models to identify clashes with other disciplines.Consolidate client queries and help to coordinate with GC to resolve the that all issues and clashes are resolved before GC produces shop the GC shop drawing is aligned with BIM GC has used BIM models for constructability studies prior to development of shop space management done with client's operations team coordinated models are used to help identify EHS issues with all EHS team member the construction is consistent with as-built the required client's parameters are filled in by the GC.Collect clash numbers for consolidation and reporting to client on a weekly basis.

Process engineer needs the following skills:

Communication: As a Process engineer, you will be responsible for communicating with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, team members and suppliers. Effective communication to convey important information, answer questions and resolve issues.

Organized: Being organized to help a Project Manager save time, as they can more easily find the information they need or the files they need to access.

Time management: Ensure that each task is completed on time and within budget.

Problem-solving: As a Process engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project, which means you need to be able to identify potential issues and develop solutions to overcome them. For example, if a supplier is unable to deliver the materials needed for a project, you may be able to develop a plan to continue the project.

Leadership: As a Process engineer, you can use your leadership skills to help your team work together to complete projects on time and within budget.

BIM sectionFamiliar with BIM execution experience with projects using good understanding of BIM CDE (Common Data Environment), preferred with Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Design and Plan System and Buildings

Collaborate with core team (GFC and Client's MXA Facilities) to develop semiconductor Facility Water system designs, from basis of design to issue for constructions for project buildouts and major infrastructure upgrades.

Manage design of Water and Gas infrastructure systems ranging from Ultra-Pure Water, Reclaim / Recycle Water and Wastewater Treatment/collection systems, Bulk Gas, Specialty Gas, and Chemical setup.

Manage all Water and Gas system issues during concept design, detailed design, procurement, bidding, manufacturing, delivery, and installation on site.

Ensure designs comply with all applicable standards, codes, and regulations.

Benchmark within and external to client's sites on Engineering and Design Best Known Methods (BKM) of Facilities buildings and systems.

Provide system design for safe, reliable and efficient operations and maintenance; Provide and prepare all types of documents including statement of work (SOW), total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, concept designs, drawing markup, budget, schedule, factory test and acceptance documents, final startup/commissioning reports and review and acceptance of as-builts and submittals.

Construction Execution

Implementation of Water and Gas requirements in the installation and test plans of the Contractor for the detailed planning and construction phase until final takeover is completed.

Ensure project construction & safety management plan are fully implemented.

Ensure Quality Assurance and Control (QAQC) of project deliverables, execute construction completed works is in proper condition and meet the requirement of specifications & function.

Perform systems Test & Commissioning in accordance with requirement of Construction document and guarding the Owner against defects and deficiencies in the works.

SIPP document check and review.

Qualifications

Suitable candidates are likely to have a minimum of 10 years working experience consisting of 5 years experience in construction with a minimum of 5 years in the Water and Gas installation field, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Demonstrable experience in the managing of multi-disciplined semiconductor projects and/or other relevant industries is strongly preferred.

Practiced in project control mechanisms and with commercial and technical risk assessments

Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to visualize issues and communicate them to others.

Outstanding organization and coordinating skills – ability to coordinate and motivate groups of Consultants / Contractors.

Ability to work collaboratively and pro-actively in a team environment.

Strong English ability in speaking and writing, be able to communicate with English speaking engineers both verbally and by writing.
