- Support the development and execution of SEA region's financial planning and analysis processes including the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Support the asset management activities in SEA region, including tracking and managing contract renewals, termination and renovation projects (financial analysis/ROI)
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing financial performance and growth
- Assist in monitoring key performance indicators and provide regular updates on the country/regional's performance to country/regional leadership
- Support the development and execution of CLI and Ascott global strategic planning process
- Develop and manage the group long-range planning projections
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of operational initiatives with strategic goals
- Support Ascott leadership (ALC) and Region/Country teams on functional and region/country growth and strategy
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis, competitive assessments, and industry research to inform strategic decision-making
- Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and potential risks to develop actionable strategic recommendations
- Support the preparation of performance reporting and strategic meetings – monthly CLI reporting, TAL board meetings, Ascott management retreat (AMR), Ascott global conference (AGC) etc
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, industry experts, and stakeholders to stay informed on industry developments
- Support the evaluation of potential mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and other strategic alliances
- Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or equivalent
- At least 2-5 years' experience in a Strategic Planning / Real Estate role or equivalent preferably within the lodging sector
- Excellent report-writing, financial modelling, and presentation preparation skills.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and PPT
- Critical thinker, solutions oriented, self-starter, entrepreneurial
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using data analytics tools will be a plus
