Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of the Department, you are responsible for the preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements.

Job description:

Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management.
Responsible for the preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements.
Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, etc.)
Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities.
Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company.
Check, review and approved payment to vendor.
Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirements (GST/WHT/CIT) and year-end audit.
Assist in new processes and system implementation when required
Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
Liaising with the external professionals such as banker, corporate secretarial agents, tax agents, auditors etc. in relation to the corporate finance matters.
Perform ad-hoc assignments assigned by the management.

Requirements:

Degree in Finance or Accounting with at least 3-5 years of experience.
Knowledge of XERO and or ERP Netsuite Oracle system will be added advantage.
A self-starter who is able to plan, organise and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently.
Can-do attitude, driven and passionate about work
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
