- Develop project plans, strategies, business requirements documents, functional specifications, design specifications, requirements traceability matrices, test scripts, training materials, and FAQ lists.
- Act as the liaison between the technical team and business users regarding issues and change requests.
- Identify and comprehend business problems, requirements, and their priorities.
- Oversee issue resolution and establish resolution plans.
- Understand strategic planning, conduct business model analysis, process design, and systems analysis.
- Perform impact assessments.
- Provide guidance to developers on required specifications.
- Verify application conformity to specifications.
- Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and support acceptance testing exercises.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with peers and users.
- Conduct training sessions for users or internal IT teams.
- Provide ongoing application support.
- Hold a tertiary education degree.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Possess at least 5 years of experience in a business analyst role within the insurance industry, with coverage of life, group, or general insurance business.
- Experience with Anti-Money Laundering/Counter-Financing of Terrorists enterprise solutions such as those provided by SAS, NICE Actimize, EastNets, Fiserv, Thomson Reuters, BAE System Detica, Accuity, etc.
- Demonstrates meticulousness and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (IIBA).
- Experience in software development, business analysis, with some project management exposure.
- 2-3 years of project management experience, having participated in at least two full SDLC cycles from requirements study to system deployment.
- May be required to travel for short durations to Malaysia or Indonesia.

Senior Business Analyst
The candidate assumes responsibility for translating business requirements into technological solutions by defining, analyzing, and documenting requirements; mapping and optimizing business processes; and ensuring technological solutions meet business needs within the AMLS (Anti-money laundering System) application.
The candidate serves as the primary contact point for the project, supporting the regional project manager in project implementation. They will provide application support to the business, including handling change requests, managing defects, conducting impact analysis, and implementing workarounds post-system deployment.
