Financial accountingEnsure that accounting for monthly / quarterly / yearly closing are completed on time and accuratelyReview monthly closing TB and sign off for reporting submissionPrepare / Review monthly closing journalReview accounts reconciliations and schedulesReview monthly bank reconciliation for sign-off and follow-upControl chart of a/c, review consistency, control a/c creation and archiveAssist FM in annual policy renewal reviewAssist FM in preparation for accounting practice documentationProvision policy review and proposalEnsure compliance to accounting standardsAudit review support (External and GCAD review)Annual Statutory Accounts, XBRL

GST and taxProvide assistance and research correct treatmentReview and submit GST quarterly returnsPrepare / Review tax & deferred tax computation for accounting provisionFinalise corporate tax computations for review by HO and tax consultants

Implement and review controlsContinuously review processes to ensure that controls are in placeRecommend and implement new controls where necessary

Feasibility studies / capital expenditure purchasesProvide financial analysis for new projects / purchasesReview government tender submissions for financial requirements (bankers' guarantees, working capital)

Provide advice, guidelines and instructions to shared services centre and operations on new issues / clarify current practices

Preparation and finalization of budget and forecastsProvide assistance to reporting team to formulate budget and forecasts

Review and co-ordinate insurance coverage of company's assets

IT mattersImplement and test new programs developed to ensure that they function correctly based on our requirementSet up parameters and interfaces in GDMS for new models and/ or franchise.

Job Requirement

Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA)

More than 5 years of relevant working experience in accounting

Good Excel skills

Able to work in fast-paced environment
