Description

Team Management:
Oversee and lead the restaurant staff, including servers, chefs, kitchen staff, and other employees. You'll be responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management to maintain a competent and motivated team.

Customer Service:Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring guests have a positive and satisfying experience. Address customer concerns and feedback promptly to maintain customer loyalty and reputation.

Operational Efficiency:Monitor daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to standard operating procedures. Implement improvements to optimize service and reduce waste, enhancing overall restaurant performance.

Inventory and Supplies:Manage inventory levels, ordering, and stock control for both kitchen supplies and front-of-house items. Ensuring that the restaurant has sufficient stock and mínimal wastage is a key responsibility.

Health and Safety Compliance:Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Create and implement protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for staff and customers.

Financial Management:Work within budget constraints, track expenses, and identify cost-saving measures while maintaining the quality of food and service. Analyze financial reports and make informed decisions to improve profitability.

Menu and Product Development:Collaborate with chefs and owners to create and modify menus, introducing new dishes and special offerings to attract customers and keep the menu fresh.

Marketing and Promotion:Assist in developing marketing strategies to increase restaurant visibility and attract more customers. This might involve participating in events, promotions, or social media campaigns.

Vendor and Supplier Management:Maintain good relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to get the best deals on ingredients and other supplies.

Quality Control:Ensure the consistency and quality of food and service, maintaining the restaurant's reputation for excellence.

Compliance and Licensing:Ensure the restaurant is in compliance with all relevant licenses, permits, and regulations, including alcohol licensing if applicable.

Report and Communication:Regularly report to the restaurant owner or senior management on the restaurant's performance, challenges, and progress towards goals.


To excel as an Operation Manager in a restaurant, you'll need strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of the hospitality industry.
