Description

This role reports to APAC Regional Senior Finance Manager and can lead and shape end to end investment including operating expense (SG&A) in J&J encompassing strong leadership, analytical and technical knowledge, well-articulated, and has the ability and confidence to work with cross functional stakeholders and Senior Leaders.

The individual should ideally have a can-do attitude and is able to function in unclear environment.

Primary responsibilities/qualities:

Strong business partnering with multiple stakeholders in global / regional / country teams, as well as regional cross functional teams to Lead and shape Regional office finance/Global functions cost through providing end to end support for finance function for AP region and based out of Singapore where practices are embraced and integrated in the business planning and review process.
Drive P/L efficiencies and E2E TSR value creation initiatives within RO finance through insightful analysis and seeking opportunities to leverage spent productivity and effectiveness to support decision making & action planning as well as on key strategic projects to improve profitability and drive better investment choices.
Partner with FP&A to deliver timely, accurate and adhoc management/planning reporting to Global / Regional management including quarterly financial reporting, business plan updates, longterm strategic plans.
Drive automation through simplification, standardization, and improving existing reporting tools and work processes to provide realtime performance updates to the business stakeholders.
Build and supports the reengineering of S&OP through OneStream to improve business forecasting with Investments/SG&A/IT/Global functions costs together with the business metrics and mitigate business risk and opportunities.
Lead and drive global/regional projects on goto market (GTM), expansion within existing and white spaces as well as ecommerce arena.
Adhere to strong reporting governance reporting and any adhoc request required by management on data and analysis.
Overall forecasting, planning and actual analysis
Annual budget and update cycles activities
Work closely with global, regional and local business partners to manage the planning cycles
Consults with Senior Regional Leaders on target deployment to countries
Work with Country Leaders to identify local budget needs
Regional consolidation and responsible for reviewing and providing financial and business analysis to Regional and Global Leaders
Decision support analysis
Conducts complex financial, accounting or planning analysis in the area of budget and forecast
Challenges business assumptions, help to develop alternative scenarios or what if analysis
Monitor and drive target delivery
Quarter close and standard reporting
Issues quarterly reports to business partners
Review quarterly results with business partners and identify risks & opportunities for entire region
Process
Drive continuous improvement in work processes cross functionally
Work through process gaps with relevant stakeholders to drive better employee experience
Monitor FQWs matrix
Ensure policies and procedures are followed

Qualifications

Professional qualifications:

Education/Qualification: Bachelor's Degree, CPA, CMA or equivalent
Experience: 56 Years minimum Min 2 years' experience in FP&A or business support
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Microsoft Office (Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel), Finance and Accounting knowledge
SAP TM1/Bravo System Knowledge/experience is beneficial
Preferred Qualifications: Finance/Accounting, CPA, CMA or other financial certification and/or MBA
