Cambridge-certified Primary and Secondary Mathematics teacher and curriculum specialist (NUS graduate) who is familiar with IP Y1 -4 Math. More than 25 years of experience at the intersection of teaching, curriculum design and development, assessment design, team management and customer relationship building in the private education sector.

Over 6000 hours of teaching Primary and Secondary Mathematics — 1 year 4 months online, 5 years full-time in formal class settings and 12 years part-time — accumulated since graduating from Victoria Junior College.

Leadership and Team Management

6 years of transferable leadership experience acquired in the journey of co-training, supervising, and influencing editorial project teams (inter- and intra-department levels) towards the fruition of pedagogically rigorous Mathematics packages published for nationwide audiences, locally and internationally.

Curriculum Design, Development, and Innovation

7 years of experience in directly collaborating with Singapore’s MOE’s curriculum planning and development department on the pedagogy and content behind mainstream school textbooks (details elaborated under ‘Achievement Highlights’). Familiar with creating mock examination papers which are aligned with the latest MOE standards and requirements as well.
