1995 – 2001 ---- Worked as Product Specialist with Pharmacia & Upjohn. Responsible for the sales and marketing of intra-ocular lenses to ophthalmologists. Promoted to Sales Manager in 2000 shortly after the merger. Additional duties include Conducting sales training to sales executives; ordering and inventory management & budgeting for market activities and organising of public seminars as well as arranging overseas trips for doctors and surgeons in both government and private sectors. Other duties include leading & motivating the sales team to attain department sales target. In charge of all marketing & sponsorship activities within the government and private hospitals for all new product launches
2002 – 2012: -----. Worked as Senior Sales Consultant in Tan Chong Motor Sales Pte Ltd. Responsible for direct sales of passenger and commercial vehicles to individuals and companies. Attained the top 10 best salesperson award for 8 consecutive years. Responsible for tender quotations for government bodies / statutory boards / companies for all vehicle types for corporate sales.
2012 – 2015: ----- Worked as Sales Manager in Drug Houses of Australia Pte Ltd. Visit customers frequently to promote and aggressively develop pharma business in assigned geographical regions and customers of key accounts. Regular follow ups for purchase orders, samples and technical information sharing. Identifying and introducing products in the specified regions and customers. To undergo technical trainings to support the sales team and customers with technical knowhow and product application. Ensuring the targets set by the company with the specified timelines are achieved. Analyzing the potential of pharma market and building the customer base. Preparing and sending monthly and other detailed reports of sales and business development. Recruiting and training sales staff. Allocating areas to sales reps. Visit sites at times to propose fire stopping solutions to contractors during product installations. 2018 – 2022: ------ Worked as Sales / Logistics Manager in Kingsley TSM Trading Pte Ltd. Obtained licence of importing and wholesale trade of parboiled rice with Enterprise SG. Promoting sales of dried foodstuff to retail stores and wholesale distributors in overseas market like China; Indonesia & India. P&L Management and GST and business taxes. Exporting of cars and accessories to African countries like Nigeria. Prepare weekly sales report inventory planning and ordering. Budgeting and compliance with Singapore Storage and Warehouse. Created parboiled rice brand awareness to potential supermarket chains in Singapore as well as online. Manage payment collections from clients. Maintain professional after-sales customer service standards at all times. Identifying key competition / pricing / offers in the market.
